Located in Haverfordwest, West Wales, the Portfield School redevelopment represents a major investment in specialist education facilities for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Led by Morgan Sindall Construction, the project is transforming an existing school site to create much-needed, high-quality spaces tailored to support students and staff. With a strong focus on performance, comfort, and durability, the flooring systems installed throughout the building play a vital role in achieving these goals.
Tremco Flooring has supplied the subfloor preparation materials, prior to the final floor coverings being installed. The high-performance flooring package was installed AJ Gollop Contract Flooring, supported with site visits and a full written specification from Tremco CPG.
The Tremco system was selected for its ease of installation, long-term reliability, and compatibility. All are key factors in a project where consistency and quality are crucial. The installation currently covers 2,000m², with potential to expand in the future on the large site.
