The Project
As part of a significant refurbishment, QD Stores upgraded its retail space at 52-56 Magdalen Street, Norwich, transforming 580m² of floor area to improve durability and visual appeal for customers and staff alike. The brief called for a high-performance, fast-curing smoothing compound that could support the installation of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring with minimal disruption to store operations.
The project marked a milestone for Tremco, with the Norwich installation being the first live site application of the newly reformulated Tremsmooth 300 HP. The product was supplied by Likewise South East, and the installation was carried out by Norfolk-based contractor Complete Flooring.
